| Q. When are the services? A.
We have two services on Sunday morning, one at 8:30 and another at
10:30. Both services feature the same music and teaching. During the
10:30 service, we also have a closed-circuit service in our Chapel. The
Chapel service is a live telecast from our main Worship Center.
Q. Which entrance should I use to enter the facility? A.
If you don't have children, or your children are in the fifth grade or
higher, you will want to come directly to our main Worship Center. The
Worship Center is the first building on your right as you enter our
campus.
If you have children ages birth through fourth grade, please enter through the east doors of the church under the covered drive.
Look for the visitor parking next to the east entrance when you arrive.
Q. When should I arrive? A.
It is best to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the service if you
do not have children that need to be checked in to the nursery or
children’s secure area.
If you have children who are infants
through fourth grade, allow yourself an additional five minutes to sign
them in to their classroom.
Q. What should I wear? A.
Feel free to wear whatever you like. Most of our people prefer casual
dress, so it is not likely that you will see many men in ties. We want
to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for all people to
worship and learn.
Q. Where is the nursery? A.
Our nursey serves children birth through kindergarden. It is located on
the first floor of our Learning Center building. Although it easy to
access from the Worship Center, it is more convienient to access the
nursery by parking in the East lot and entering the building through
the covered walkway. We have visitor parking along the curb just South
of that entrance.
The nursery rooms are located through the double doors on the left side of the lobby.
All children will need to be checked into, and out of, the classrooms by an adult.
Q. Do my children in grades 1 - 4 stay in the service with me? A.
They can if you choose. However for children in the grades 1 - 4 we
have a Sunday school type program during the adult Worship Service.
The
best way for your children to enter the appropriate class is to park in
the East lot and enter the building through the covered entrance. We
have tables set up in that lobby to check your child into the
appropriate class. You may then walk your child to the Praise And
Worship Service (PAWS) for children. PAWS is upstairs at the end of the
hall.
The children will be in classrooms by grade upstairs at the end of the service. You may pick them up at their designated rooms.
Q. Do children 5th grade and up stay in the service with me? A.
Yes, all children 5th grade through high school begin their service by
worshiping together with the adults. After we have worshiped God
together through song and scripture, we take a coffee break. The
children may go to their appropriate classes at that time.
The
5th and 6th grade children will need to go to the Chapel basement. The
stairs are located behind the fireplace in the Chapel lobby.
Junior- and senior-high students may go to the second floor of the Worship Center building for their classes.
Q. How long is the service? A. Typically our services are 1½ hours long. |
