Each counseling session is held in a comfortable, calm, and completely confidential environment. No matter what situation you may find yourself in, we are here for you.
Trained biblical counselors from the FBC body would be happy to provide counseling for you. You do not have to be a member of FBC to receive counseling however we do ask that you attend FBC at least twice a month during the term of counseling. And, although there is no fee for counseling, we do require homework to be completed for each session.

Whether you know it or not, you are a counselor. You counsel people hundreds of times a year. In coffee shops, near water coolers, in the grocery store, at church, or over a meal. The question is not, “Will I counsel” because you most certainly will. A better question is, “What will you counsel with?” This training is ideal for equipping people with tools for Biblical counseling. The Bible addresses all areas of the human condition, whether you have experience with a particular problem or not. Share Truth with people and help them grow into Christlikeness. This is the process of discipleship that we are mandated through Matt 28:19,20.
We encourage FBC staff, small group leaders, elders, youth leaders, etc. to take this course – be trained to counsel using God’s Word. Counseling by The Book Training is a new biblical counseling training program developed by Dr. John Babler. Dr. Babler is Chairman of Biblical Counseling at MidAmerica Seminary and College, and he also serves as a Fellow and Board Member with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). His expert training will help you learn how to use Scripture to counsel those who ask you for help.
